Electronic Trade Link by FCCISL to facilitate business community

Colombo, 20 July, (Asiantribune.com): The publishing of a monthly online electronic international trade Bulletin - ‘e-Trade Link’ by the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka (FCCISL) would enable the Sri Lankan business community who subscribe to this e-Trade Link to enable their products and services to reach a wider international audience.

Sujeevan Perera, Director Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, FCCISL explaining the benefits that the e-Trade Link would accrue said that this international trade link would provide an ideal vehicle to achieve the objectives of the local entrepreneurs.

Advertising internationally is a very costly exercise but, FCCISL e-Trade Link would provide this opportunity to advertise internationally at a very competitive rate.

The e-Trade Link bulletin provides; international trade opportunities, classified advertisements for local exporters; feature articles relating to international trade and export promotion; local and international trade news; international trade fairs and exhibition news; market information; international trade trends and market surveys.

This international trade link will be distributed among the local institutions such as foreign diplomatic missions, Sri Lanka Export Development Board, Board of INtestment, Central Bank and local companies.

Under international coverage e-Trade Link would cover the Sri Lankan Diplomatic and Trade Missions in European Union, North America, SAARC countries, East Asia/Pacific and in Australasia, international trade promoting organizations such as chambers of commerce in the above countries. It will also cover the international companies.
