Maiden Sri Lankan Embassy Website Launched in Cuba

Havana, 04 May, (Asiantribune.com):

The maiden webpage of the Sri Lankan Embassy in Cuba was launched recently which is now officially up and running under the domain name www.srilankaembcuba.org

This bilingual English / Spanish website has been designed in such a way to make it attractive, user friendly and easily navigable to surfers. One of its unique features is the rendition of sound bites of the Sri Lankan National Anthem as background music.

Besides offering in-depth news and articles on Sri Lanka and its current developments, the website also endeavours to reach out to the Spanish speaking people in the Latin American and Caribbean region with the latest updates on Sri Lanka’s diplomatic relations with Cuba vis-a-vis countries in the region, in the context of promoting mutually beneficial relations.

A multitude of linkages and networks introduced to the website will enable users to navigate and search detailed information on Sri Lanka’s history, culture, trade& commerce, investment, tourism and other vital sectors of interest at the touch of a key.

The Embassy, as part of its new initiatives, launched this maiden website in order to promote Sri Lanka’s image and interests abroad using web based electronic and online media tools.
