Kandasamy Kamalendran & two others ordered to be in remand prison

Colombo, 28 May, (Asiantribune.com):

One more time, Selvanayakam Leninkumar, Kayts Magistrate yesterday has ordered the remand up to 11th of June of Kandasamy Kamalendran, former leader of the Opposition in the Northern Provincial Council.

Yesterday the case against Kandasamy Kamalendran and two other suspects were taken up for hearing at the Kayts Magistrate Court before Kayts Magistrate Selvanayakam Leninkumar.

Earlier Police arrested three suspects including Kamalendran in connection with the murder of Delft Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Daniel Rexigan (44 years). He was found dead with head injuries at his residence in Punkudithivu on November 26.

Regarding this death Kandasamy Kamalendran was arrested in Colombo on 3rd September 2013 in Colombo.
Northern Provincial Council Opposition Leader Kandasami Kamalendra, his office assistant Lundan Sasindran and Rexigan’s wife Enida were arrested for the alleged murder.

Kayts Magistrate ordered all three suspects in the Delft Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Daniel Rexigan be remanded till 11th June.
