Gateways – 21st Century Maritime Silk Road

A seminar on 21st Century Maritime Silk Road organized by the Lakshman Kadiragamar Institute of International Relation and Strategic Studies was held on 7th November 2014 at its Auditorium with the participation of distinguished gathering.

It was a seminar of large opportunity for scholars, diplomats, economists and linguists to exchange views on the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.

T.K.Premadasa Ex Head of Corporate Affairs and Communication of Sri Lanka Export Development Board delivered a lecture on 21st Century Maritime Silk Road – Gateway to economic giant. He touched covering the economic aspects significant over the new Chinese diplomacy to strengthen Chinese economy further and its effects on the development of Maritime Silk Road countries. The speaker also emphasized the proposed FTA was such a valuable FTA and how should Sri Lanka apply proper market entry strategy to gain maximum befits from Proposed FTA.
