By Quintus Perera - Asian Tribune

Colombo, 07 December, (ASiantribune.com): "The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce 1839 - 2004, A Historical Review" is the commemorative volume that was printed in September 2005 to mark the 165th Anniversary of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and copies of review are available at CCC at Navam Mawatha and in all Vijitha Yapa Book Stalls. The Review is a prestigious luxury limited edition in hard cover consisting more than 200 pages.

The Review goes on a fascinating journey from the 18th century to 21st century detailing the growth and development of the Commercial sector, the evolution of the economy from a commodity base of Coffee, Tea, Rubber and Coconut to a modern business environment and the contribution made by the Chamber and the role played by its leaders. The review could also be an ideal gift of appreciation to local and overseas customers.
