New Heads of Mission Present Credentials to President Maithripala

Colombo, 26 February, (Asiantribune.com):

Sri Lanka President spelt out that the Foreign policy of the Government is to continue on the path of non-alignment with cordial relations with all nations, when two ambassadors and a high commissioner presented their credentials to President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat this morning.

They were:

Mr. Kye Yong, Ambassador of DPR Korea

Mr. Yi Xianliang, Ambassador of PR China

Mr. Samuel Panyin Yalley, High Commissioner of Ghana

During the meeting President Sirisena said the government foreign policy is to continue on the path of non-alignment with cordial relations with all nations.

After receiving the foreign diplomats separately, President Maithripala Srisena met them and told, that Sri Lanka consider the friendship with all the nations and people is of utmost importance for our country and the people,
President further added that Sri Lanka seeks cooperation of the other nations for utilization of new technology for our progress. We want investments for our industrial sector and especially for agriculture sector, which is the backbone of our economy.
