Morning blast in heart of Colombo leaves more than 20 injured

Colombo, 02 January, (Asiantribune.com): More than 20 people were injured this morning in a suspected LTTE roadside bomb blast at the heart of Colombo. The blast that took place at 9.30 am adjacent to landmark Hotel Nippon, Union Place, was aimed at a passing SL Army Lorry.

According to reports, two people died and more than 20 people were injured this morning in a suspected LTTE roadside bomb blast at the heart of Colombo. The blast took place at the very vicinity of Sri Lanka Army HQ in Colombo
