SL Police begins a massive investigation on Slave Island bomb blast

Colombo, 02 January, (Asiantribune.com): The Police have begun extensive investigations into the Clay more mine bomb explosion at Slave Island in Colombo this morning.

The police believe the bomb which has been apparently placed inside one of the external unit of the Air conditioning machines of the Nippon Hotel, located near the catastrophe, may have been blasted through remote control.

Both the IGP and the Colombo Magistrate have inspected the location of the blast.

The bomb killed four people and injured twenty eight the military said. Defense Ministry said the bomb, exploded targeting an army bus carrying soldiers.
