Prime Minister to Visit Japan Tomorrow

Colombo, 09 April, (Asiantribune.com):

Prime Minister Rani Wickremesinghe accompanied by his wife Prof. Maithree Wickremesinghe will visit Japan from April 10 to 16.

Minister will hold a meeting with Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe, followed by several other engagements.

The Government of Japan has announced that they are looking forward to the visit which they believe will serve to further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and Sri Lanka.

The Premier will be accompanied by Prof. Maithree Wickremesinghe, Minister of Special Assignments Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade Malik Samarawickreme, MP Prof Ashu Marasinghe, Secretary to the Prime Minister Saman Ekanayake, Additional Secretary to the Prime Minister Saman Athaudahetti, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Miss Sandra Perera.
