Sri Lanka Prime Minister condemns the killing of Minister Dassanayaka
Colombo, 08 January, (Asiantribune.com): Sri Lank’s Prime Minister Rathnasiri Wikramanayake was saddened by the ruthless killing of Minister D.M. Dassanayaka and unreservedly condemns the barbaric act.
In a special communiqué issued today (8), the Prime Minister asserts that terrorists, regardless of human lives, began this wave of killing at the turn of the new year with terrorist violence.
Prime Minister said, “The government, determined to eradicate terrorism while it is bent on developing the country with special developing programmes, expresses its sorrow to the members of family of the slain Parliamentarian.”
