Ananda Medical Night 2017 – Towards ‘A Safe And Healthy Ananda’

The Old Anandians Medical Guild (OAMG) will be organizing Ananda Medical Night on 22nd July 2017, from 7 pm onwards at the "Eagle" at Water's Edge, Battaramulla with a gathering of medical professionals and their families.

The OAMG, which is a formation of old Anandians who are currently serving as medical professionals has already established a state-of-the-art Medical Centre at the college which provides services to school children and the staff.

The purpose of organizing this event is to raise funds for the above mentioned necessities. Currently the funds are raised through membership dues and generous donations from well-wishers.

The OAMG under the theme "Safe and Healthy Ananda," organizes numerous activities including Dengue prevention campaigns, health camps and educational programs for teachers and college students and for provision of medical care at all sporting events.

The centre is well-equipped with emergency facilities and necessary drugs. More than 1000 students visit a month to obtain services and an approximate operational cost of about Rs. 100,000 per month is spent.

The OMAG invites all the old Anandian medical professionals and students in the entire island to attend this important event to make this event a success.
