27 Indian illegals arrested

27 Indian illegals arrested Jaffna, 21 August, (Asiantribune.com):

Officials of the Department of Immigration and Emigration arrested 27 Indian nationals in Jaffna for violating their visitor’s visa conditions.

In the swoop undertaken by the officials, they arrested these Indian nationals engaged in self-employment and employment related activities.

According to an official of the Department of Immigration and Emigration, 19 of those arrested Indian nationals were engaged in astrological predictions.

Moreover six of them were found involved textile in trading activities and two persons were found working in some trading centers.

Asian Tribune learnt that those arrested are expected to be deported back to India.
