Please Stop Killing of Humanity In Myanmar

Mumbai, 02 September, (Asiantribune.com):

M. Burhanuddin Qasmi of Mumbai, India has appealed to the UN Secretary General in New York to look in to the Myanmar genocide issue and initiate appropriate action within his capacity to control the situation immediately and protect the rights of minorities.

In a letter addressed to UN Secretary General M. Burhanuddin Qasmi has brought to his notice of the continuous news and graphics, recently, in mainstream and social media about atrocities and killing of innocent Muslims - elderly men, women and children in Myanmar.

He said that this was against the principles of justice, peace and humanity. It is in plain words killing of humanity in broad-daylight and insanity on display for the world. It also explicitly expresses how a democratically elected government in Myanmar is doing virtually nothing to stop this barbaric terrorism under its nose he added.

“I, as a citizen of this world and a human being with heart and soul, cannot keep watching this anymore - it is distressing and disgraceful for entire living human world. Your esteemed Body - UNO is meant and established to protect human lives and human values across the world,” he further adds.

“Therefore, I urgently invite your attention and humbly appeal you to look in to the Myanmar genocide issue and initiate appropriate action within your capacity to control the situation immediately and protect the rights of minorities. “

The appeal further adds, “The Muslims in Myanmar should also be guaranteed their fundamental right to live as well as basic human rights, which they are entitled to avail being the citizen of this human world and citizens of a geopoliticaly defined country - Myanmar. This is very much enshrined in the UN's Universal Human Rights Declaration to which every country is a member. May your esteemed office act swiftly and decisively!”

This appeal has been forwarded with copies to -
