Sridevi follows mystery deaths of fellow entertainers

By S.H.Moulana

The popular Bollywood star Sridevi is no more, but her death still remains a mystery for all her fans.

The large crowd she drew for her funeral in Bombay is an ample reason for her popularity and rightly the Indian government too made it a state funeral.

Now, we learn, Dr. Subramaniam Swamy of BJP believes that the popular actress was murdered and did not die of heart attack.

The latest announcement coming from the UAE police says that she died by drowning in the bath tub in her guestroom.

It is not strange if a child were to drown in a bath tub, but a woman of 54 years to drown of all in a bath tub is really mysterious.

We recall a similar incident way back in 2012, when the highly popular American singer Whitney Houston died by drowning in the bath tub in her guestroom.

We have heard of numerous mysterious deaths in the entertainment world within a decade.

In 2009, Michael Jackson, who thrilled all of us with his smash hit ‘Thriller’ and numerous other hits, died of acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication, at his home.

Then in 2011 the young British singer, Amy Winehouse died of alcohol toxicity. Who can forget her super number ‘You know I am no good’.

Year 2012, we read about Whitney Houston of the song ‘I will always love you’ fame, drowning in a bath tub due to a disease related to cocaine use.

In early 2016 we read about the death of Prince of the ‘Purple rain’ fame due to opioid overdose. In the latter part of the same year we read the about the demise of George Michael, who was found dead at his home. The cause was supposed to be heart attack but not sure. However, his fans are still enjoying by listening to his evergreen number ‘Careless whisper’!

We sadly note the final end of some famous entertainers by failing to have a balanced life. Anyway they don’t deserve to go this way after doing their best to keep us happy and united.

They are the only people we think can help to maintain unity among all communities unlike the selfish and divisive politicians. Our thoughts are always with them.
