DIG Latiff receives 5th-degree black belt in Taekwondo from Korea

Colombo, 28 March, (Asiantribune.com):

Special Task Force ( STF) Commandant Senior DIG M.R Latiff receives the 5th-degree black belt in Taekwondo, an honorary title from the Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Headquarters in South Korea.

DIG Latiff took up Taekwondo as a sport in 1989.

Latiff received this as an honorary title from the Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Headquarters in South Korea.

The title was presented in Sri Lanka to the Senior Policeman on March 25th at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.

Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Sri Lanka, Heon Lee presented the title to the Commandant at the Korean house.

Taekwondo national head coach Master Lee, SP A.M.A.L. Abeykoon and ASP H.R. Kamal Fernando of the STF also participated at the event.
