Sri Lankan sisters win competition in Riyadh


The international coffee chain Draft Café situated in the fashionable Sulaimania district of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia conducted a competition ‘Grab a cup & doodle on it’.

There was a stiff competition with not less than 100 competitors from 12 different countries taking part.

The panel of judges comprising of promotional and design experts after a thorough scrutinizing of every aspect related to the competition selected the final winners.

The winner was Fariha Faroon and the runner up was her younger sister Fadia Faroon, both from Sri Lanka and they were awarded with valuable prizes and trophies.

The winner’s design was selected for Draft Café’s coffee cups to serve it customers.

The winner and the runner up were inundated with congratulatory messages from the Sri Lankan expatriate community living in the gulf.
