2000 Residents From Maradana Isolated

Colombo, 02 April, (Asiantribune.com):

Nearly, 2000 persons residing in the Arnold Ratnayake Mawatha in Maradana, Colombo 10 have been isolated and quarantined in their own houses today.

In the meantime, the number of COVID – 19 patients in the country has risen to 146, Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe said on Wednesday.

Dr. Jasinghe said the number has risen to 146 after three patients from Jaffna, Maradana, and Kurunegala each tested positive for the virus today.

The total number of recovered patients stands at 21 while more than 100 persons are currently under observation across hospitals in the country.

Meanwhile 2 more coronavirus patients were discharged from hospital after complete recovery.

The Ministry of Health said that 18 persons, including 17 Sri Lankan and one Chinese woman, have so far recovered and have been discharged from hospitals
