The other side of terrorists’ story exposed

The other side of terrorists’ story exposed

Asoka Weerasinghe from Canada writes: “I respect Makenthiran's virtue of being opposed to all forms of discrimination. So do I. But unfortunately his views of discrimination of the Tamils in Sri Lanka are based on several concocted fairy tales. That is where Makenthiran has failed.”

In responding to Makenthirans version, Sinhalese are terrorists alright, but not as bad as the awful Tiger terrorists, Asoka Weerasinghe comes with his version of the atrocities Sinhalese experienced at the hands of the Tamil rebel outfit – Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam.

The full text of the letter written by Asoka Weerasinghe is given below:

Sir:

Thank you for the courtesy for publishing my response to Makenthiran's "An indictment of Sri Lanka Government", and his response to mine.

I respect Makenthiran's virtue of being opposed to all forms of discrimination. So do I. But unfortunately his views of discrimination of the Tamils in Sri Lanka are based on several concocted fairy tales. That is where Makenthiran has failed.
