Islamabad, 01 January, (Asiantribune.com): Pakistan Saturday said that Khokhrapar-Munabao train service will be a step forward in the peace process between Pakistan and India.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Tasneem Aslam said both the countries will hold two-day technical level talks on the resumption of rail link between Khokhrapar and Munabao in New Delhi from Jan 5, 2006.

Expressing the hope that the service will improve the bilateral ties and will help in making progress on more serious issues, she said during the talks scheduled to be held on Thursday the two sides will work out the technical details of the train service.

She said the railway track and the related infrastructure on Pakistani side is ready and delay in resumption of service is from the Indian side.
