[b]Islamabad, 14 February, (Asiantribune.com): [/b]Pakistani will raise the issue of cross-border attacks during Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s visit to the country this week, foreign office spokesperson said on Monday.

Mr. Hamid Karzai is scheduled to arrive Wednesday in Islamabad on a three-day official visit to Pakistan during which he will hold talks with President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues.

The US-led coalition troops in Afghanistan fired artillery rounds on a tent in on the Pakistani side of the border killing two women and injuring several children. Pakistan has condemned the attack and registered a protest with the Afghan government and coalition forces.

Briefing newsmen, the spokesperson Tasneem Aslam said the attack from the Afghan side, killed nomads on the Pakistani side and the issue will be taken up during the visit of the Afghan President as well as at the tripartite Commission meeting of Pakistan, the United States and Afghanistan.
