[b]Pak satisfied with nuclear deterrence capability[/b]

[b]Islamabad, 13 April, (Asiantribune.com): [/b]The National Command Authority, which met Wednesday at its Secretariat, the Strategic Plans Division, expressed satisfaction at the current state of Pakistan's strategic deterrence.
The meeting, chaired by the President General Pervez Musharraf, was also attended by the Prime Minister, Shaukat Aziz, Minister for Defence and Foreign Affairs, Chairman Joint Chiefs of the Staff Committee, Services Chiefs, Senior Scientists and officials.
The NCA assessed that the country's strategic capability is sufficient to meet the current and future challenges.
It however noted with concern the implications of the US-India Nuclear Agreement on strategic stability in South Asia.
