Dear Editor
Asian Tribune

Thank you for the courtesy of your columns.

As Asoka Weerasinghe is anxious to prove his points to the reading public, I wish to give him a chance to exculpate him from the charges of being a 'liar'. As he is indulging in lengthy dissertations beating about the bush and misleading readers, I request him to answer to the following points in brevity.

Thesavalamai: Do you accept that you were wrong in writing that Thesavalami Law of the Tamils bars Sinhalese from owning even an inch of land in Jaffna. It is confirmed that you were wrong.

Sinhalese armed forces in Jaffna: You were wrong in writing that I gave the figure as 400,000, whereas I wrote that it is 40,000. Do you accept that you were wrong?
