[b]Remand of three Sri Lanka policemen extended until 17 of this month.[/b]

[b]Colombo, 04 January, (Asiantribune.com):[/b] A LTTE court in Kilinochchi has further extended the remand of the three Sri Lankan policemen in custody till 17 of this month, when the case was taken up by the courts today.

LTTE cadres, of the Murukkan Kokkupadayan camp, arrested the three policemen, who went to arrest a British pedophile on 09 September last year.

The three policemen Sub Inspector B. Bopitigoda, constables K. Sarath and D. Hemantha attached to the National Child Protection Authority were arrested by the Tigers when they crossed into the Tiger controlled area at Arripu in the Mannar district, along with four of their colleagues and two catholic priests.
