Shillong, 30 January, (Asiantribune.com): "ROOTS" Festival unlimited is all set to rock Shillongites again on February 4 and 5, next at Don Bosco Mini Stadium in Laitumkhrah. This Festival aims to promote originality in the performing arts and to bring together musicians and audiences from all over the region, the country and abroad for some positive interaction.

Usually organized in outdoor locations around Shillong city, this year saw "ROOTS" going indoors for the first time with greater emphasis laid on the music and the message it carries. The "ROOTS" Festival initially began ten years ago as a tribute concert to reggae legend Bob Marley, today it has evolved into a festival of roots music.

"We believe in supporting and promoting original music and we justify it by providing a platform for artists to showcase their original works", says Keith Wallang, Founder & Director of Roots Festival Unlimited. An exciting line-up of artists will be performing various kinds of original works over the two day Festival.
