Sri Lankan policemen further remanded by the LTTE courts.

[b]Sri Lankan policemen further remanded by the LTTE courts.[/b]

[b]Colombo, 29 November, (Asiantribune.com):[/b] Three Sri Lanka policemen attached to the National Child Protection Agency were remanded further until 20 December, when the case came for hearing yesterday at the LTTE’s courts in Kilinochchi.

The three policemen -

1. Reserve Sub-Inspector (RSI) Bandujeewa Weerasinghe Bopitigoda,

2. Police Constable K.A.D. Sarath (9925)

3. Police Constable Welegoda Gamage Diluksha Hemantha (973)

- were detained by the LTTE Police on an allegation that they forcefully entered into LTTE controlled area in Aripu in the Mannar district on 10 September and were produced before the Kilinochchi district judge belonging to the court run by the LTTE.
