Suspected Sea Tiger suicide boat explodes: Lethal drama in the Kalpitya Sea

By Our Colombo Correspondent.

Colombo, 05 May, (Asiantribune.com): High drama is reported in the coast in Kudilamai, Kalpitiya as Tamil Tigers brought a truck fixed with two anti-aircraft guns to guard off a flotilla of sea Tiger boats which retreat to the shore amid Navy firing.

The Navy has requested the help of Air Force to destroy the truck. The Navy water jet cannot approach the sea Tiger boats due to the aircraft guns whose effective fire range is approximately 5000 meters.

The gun fixed to Water Jets could fire only up to 1500 meters. The Air force assistance has not yet arrived at the time of posting this report.

This morning, the Navy destroyed on sea Tiger boats when the Navy Water Jets engaged a flotilla of sea Tiger boats off Kudiramalai Point, Kalpitiya.

Ah well, you don't have to. But I find it very friendly that you are at least wanting to do so. You must be a good person.

Maybe I should explain you what "free interpretation means" in return?

Also thing about the next few sentences.

What you say it not that what others hear from you. What you look at is not exactly what you see...

(If you don't understand I will be available to give you the explanation. It's free. Just for you, and you only ;) )

Who says it isn't. I stated earlier on this forum, I am myself have a keen interest in Buddhism (I have been a martial arts practitioner for years).

It's also because of my love for Buddhism that I say that Dalai Lama must get a visa to Sri Lanka. Maybe he can teach those wannabe, fake-buddhists the true nature of Buddhism.

Only time I would worry, if tigers resort to unconventional warfare like chemical weapons.
Tigers do not like the present path forward wothout any progress.

They want war but still unable to get the enemy engaged and at the same time not firing the first shot.

This final war has to happen, before VP dies.
Better sooner than later.
you read that on tamilnet one day, and the very next day the British High Commission in Sri Lanka categorically refuted any such 'phone call'!
No, I read it in Sunday Times of SL (Iqbal Athas column)!
"....Foreign Secretary Jack Straw had inquired about the Air Force bombings and expressed his Government's concerns over civilian casualties. That call came so fast from London that some of the Israeli-built Kfir intercepter jets had not even returned to base at Katunayake after their mission. He knew of civilian casualties even before the sorties had returned. But the irony of it was that our own Foreign Minister seated in Colombo did not know about the bombing raids, and promised to get back to Straw with the details. It was only at the evening's Cabinet meeting that Samaraweera in Colombo knew what Straw in London was privy to. ..."

This morning, the Navy destroyed on sea Tiger boats when the Navy Water Jets engaged a flotilla of sea Tiger boats off Kudiramalai Point, Kalpitiya.

According to the navy, the boat was to have rammed into a patrol raft in the Kudiramalai point area. There were no immediate details on how many suspected rebels were in the boat or what it contained.

Meanwhile, Navy retaliated which saw one sea Tiger boat explodes in a ball of fire.
