[b]Switzerland’s strongly worded condemnations on the attacks of soldiers and civilians[/b]

[b]Colombo, 12 December, (Asiantribune.com) :[/b] Switzerland has expressed its strongest condemnation ever, on the killings of the Sri Lanka’s soldiers on two separate incidents and also the recent death of the civilians in the North and East.

In one of those attacks that caused the deaths of seven soldiers and wounded several others, a vehicle of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation was damaged. None of the four persons in the car was hurt.

However, the statement went on to emphasize that the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation would continue with its post conflict and post tsunami school rehabilitation programmes in the Jaffna Peninsula.

The statement issued by the by the Embassy in Colombo, has urged the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam and the Government of Sri Lanka to strictly uphold the Ceasefire Agreement and commence talks.
