[b]Geneva, 25 February, (Asiantribune.com):[/b]Switzerland welcomed the positive outcome of the talks between the Government of Sri Lanka and the LTTE in Geneva and it voiced the expectation that the parties to the conflict will respect the agreement they have concluded.

The Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland in a statement released just after the conclusion of the two-day talks welcomed the positive outcome of the talks between the Government of Sri Lanka and the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), which took place on 22 and 23 February in Geneva.

The Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) welcomes the positive outcome of the talks between the Government of Sri Lanka and the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), which took place on 22 and 23 February in Geneva. It voices the expectation that the parties to the conflict will respect the agreement they have concluded.
