Colombo, 04 January, (Asiantribune.com): The Ceylon Workers Congress (CWC), Up-Country Peoples Front (UPF) and the Western Peoples Front (WPF) are expected to meet this week to discuss matters pertaining to the setting up of the 'broad based Tamil alliance'.

The meeting comes a few days after a meeting between the leaders of these three political parties with LTTE political wing leader S.P. Tamilselvan.

Last Wednesday Tamilselvan held three separate meetings with Leaders Arumugam Thondaman, R. Chandrasekaran and Mano Ganesan in Kilinochchi and emphasized that 'the time was up for them all to get together as soon as possible.'

The meetings were held when they went to pay their respect to the assassinated Tamil National Alliance Batticaloa district Parliamentarian Joseph Pararajasingham.
