[b]UN Regional Center in Kathmandu within six months[/b]

[b]Kathmandu, 29 October, ([/b] The United Nations Regional Center for Peace and Disarmament in Asia and the Pacific is coming to Kathmandu within the next six months. The First Committee of the UN General Assembly has passed a resolution for the same, reported The Kathmandu Post.

Twenty-two countries backed the resolution, including India, China, Japan, Australia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Bhutan, Maldives, Korea and Afghanistan.
