[b]Colombo, 29 January, (Asiantribune.com): [/b]Kandy City Centre (KCC), ultra-modern Commercial and Shopping Complex constructed at a cost of US $ 56 million at Dalada Vidiya, Kandy would be the most modern commercial complex in Sri Lanka and it would become operative by end May 2006.

To make the details of KCC public a group of journalists were flown by an Sri Lankan Air Force Helicopter from Colombo to Kandy and Thusitha Wijesena, Chairman, Property Finance and Investment Holdings (Pvt) Ltd the investor for KCC said that the complex is designed with ultra modern features yet preserving the iconic Kandyan architecture.

He said that it was a BOI project and already he has entered into agreement with 380 reputed carefully selected Sri Lankan Companies and another 18 foreign companies have pledged to set up their businesses in this shopping mall.
