V.Anandasangaree admonishes Prabakaran – demands him to give up killings and violence.

Colombo, 06 May, (Asiantribune.com):In a letter addressed to Velupillai Prabakaran, Leader of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), V.Anandasangaree, has admonished him, demanded him to halt all violent activities immediately, allow the people to live in Peace and start negotiations without delay.

V.Anandasangaree , President of the Tamil United Liberation Front has exhorted Prbakaran for the recent failed attempt to assassinate the Army Commander Lt. Gen. Sarath Fonseka and alleged it as "one other grave blunder of yours."

While condemning the attempt made on the life of the Army Commander, he said. "It is as much serious as the assassination of the Ex-Foreign Minister Hon. Luxman Kadirgamar and not second to that of the assassination of the Indian Ex-Prime Minister Hon. Rajiv Gandhi or the Secretary General of the TULF Mr. A. Amirthalingam. To shorten the list I am not mentioning here many other notorious assassinations that brought you down from the hill-top."

WHAT YOU GOT AND WHAT YOU ACHEIVED ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. ONLY TIME WILL TELL. So, if you can in another 30 years you will understand. Right now, it is just arrogance.

Amidst all these things, do you think LTTE should get anything. That should be our challenge.

Amidst all these things, do you think TAMILS should get anything? That should be YOUR challenge.!
If you say yes, then can you spell it out?.
The duration for answering this national question has been extended to about 30 years.
I don't think even a most liberal examiner will give you that much time.

Again the question is do you think TAMILS should get anything, and if so what and how to get there!
Time's up.

(No credits will be given for repeating of last semesters answers like DCC or Provincial councial or more rights to Grama Sevaka divisions or extended 'decision making authority' to Temple priests etc!)
We know what LTT do to people who do not toe their line. They did exactly that for so long, despite that Mr V.Anandasangaree kept going unscathed. He got all the skills necessary for a Leader and he is using that effectively to attract world diplomats. This letter sound like a warning, as well as advising LTT not to wage war and seek political negotiated settlement. Perhaps he knows better what’s going on behind the scene. One should not ignore this as “Power Politics” and give due consideration in the name of peace.
yep well said.
He tried to, but JVP didn't give in!
He wrote a cople of letters to JVP too.
He asked to accept the Indian federal model. But JVP is firm in it's Unitery model. I don't think JVP even bothered to reply his letters.

Once they (TULF) used to Telegram complains to colombo. Then Telex it. Fax came afterwards. I don't know weather e-mail is used.

For some time TULF guys were trying to hange on to power using all available means. Once the last avenue is shut Anandasangaree started making issues. Eventually lost his seat and was doing his stuff in colombo.

Then went around the world , did some anti-LTTE propoganda. Specially went to anti-LTTE group gatherings and bad-mouthed the LTTE.

Now Anandasangaree is back in home turf !

And he is doing what he is best - letter writing.
Now we can call him “Letterhead Sangari”

One side EPDP try’s to buy him with their financial power, for their political propaganda and for votes.

Other side “Letterhead Sangari” trust JVP.

All above all anti-LTTE elements try’s to use him.

But for the world touring “Letterhead Sangari” a laptop is enough with a email id.

"Although you had not responded to any of my earlier letters, circumstances compel me to write to you again. Your failure to reply me makes me feel that my letters had not reached you. If you had taken my suggestions seriously the entire outlook of your organization would have changed and Peace achieved long ago. It is still not too late for you to take my advice seriously. Please rest assured that I am acting on my own and with good intentions. I can neither be influenced nor bought over. Our people and the country as a whole has suffered enough. Please cry halt to all your activities. Allow the people to live in Peace and start negotiations without delay." - Anandasangaree
He even appeared at TBC and complained LTTE's anti-social activities. Irony is TBC intiewier MR.Ramarajan is now in swiss jail for exactly what he was preaching against.

I think Mr. Anandasangaree feels bit guity on his own for this mayhem to tamils.

So, he is trying to see what ever deals he can meake to solve this thing in his life time. that is, mostly, I think, to pay for his own bad karma that he did when he was a "immature politician".

Anyway VELU is a monster who does not understand human values and does not know about ethics or morals. He shows human animal side to the maximum.

I don't think his plea would work. But, I am sure, Velu is watching and He may try to use Mr. Sangaree when he wants him for something. After that, he would get rid of Sangaree.

Any thing with Velu has to be from outside the cage.
