What happened to Ilanthirayan (Marshall)? Has he been dumped

What happened to Ilanthirayan (Marshall)? Has he been dumped?

Colombo, 30 December, (Asiantribune.com): Questions are raised in Batticalao as well as in the East of Sri Lanka, about the plight of Ilanthirayan (Marshall) alias Irasiah, who was Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam’s the political disvison head for Amparai – Batticaloa districts. There is already a grave suspicion looming that he has been dumped after taking him for an inquiry to Vanni by Pottu Amman’s intelligence operatives.

Ilanthirayan (Marshall) was appointed to succeed Kaouslayan as the head of the LTTE’s political division for Batticaoa-Amparai District on 11 February, 2005. Earlier he was in charge of the headquarter secretariat of the LTTE for Batticaloa-Amparai. In addition he was also in charge of project planning for post Tsunami reconstruction in the region.

According to reports, two charges were leveled against him.

As usual, one was the misappropriation of funds more than Sri Lankan Rupees 3.million. It seems that Amparai – Batticaloa LTTE division did not take this charge seriously.
