By Iqbal Hussain Khan Yousafzai – Reporting from Islamabad

Islamabad, 13 February, (Asiantribune.com): Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf has confirmed that a close relative of Al-Qaeda leader Dr Ayman al-Zawahiri was among five foreigners killed in the US air-strike on Damadola village in Bajaur Agency on January 13.

"One of them was a close relative of Ayman al-Zawahiri and the other man was wanted by the US and had a $5 million reward on his head," Musharraf said at a luncheon reception hosted by Interior Minister Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao at his native village in North-West Frontier Province.

He said that Al-Qaeda No 2 Dr Ayman al-Zawahiri had also been invited to the dinner in Damadola but could not turn up. "Investigations have proved that five foreign terrorists, some of them very important, were also among those killed in the attack." "I am not two hundred per cent sure. But I am 95 per cent sure of that," he added.
